Early Start Diet Advice

It is important to get an early start with a healthy diet to support children’s growth and

protecting their teeth. From a young age, we advise children should be encouraged to eat a balanced diet including lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and dairy products, allowing for a good mix of essential vitamins and minerals to maintain strong teeth and bones. We advise parents should try to limit sugary foods and drinks because frequent sugar intake can cause tooth decay to develop. Parents should promote healthy habits such as drinking water throughout the day, and sticking to main meals to ensure your child is full and hydrated, as well as having a healthy mouth.
