Whether a denture is new to you, or you’ve had one for a while, it is just as important to
care for your denture and gums as it is your teeth. Dentures should be removed and cleaned daily using a soft brush and a non-abrasive denture cleanser to remove food particles, plaque, and bacteria. They should also be soaked in water or a denture-cleaning solution overnight to keep them moist and maintain their shape, it is important to clean the gums, tongue, and any remaining natural teeth to reduce the risk of gum irritation and oral infections such as Denture stomatitis. We advise you still attend regular dental check-ups to help ensure that the dentures still fit properly and that the mouth remains healthy. A good denture care and oral hygiene routine help improve comfort, prevent bad breath, and
support overall oral health.
